President Barack Obama is a fierce advocate for clean energy. He believes that in order for America to go green, we must act now by developing new forms of clean energy. Going green will not be a quick or easy process.However, in order to go green we must provide American scientists with the tools they need. President Obama has a strong plan to invest in alternative and renewable sources of energy, end our reliance on oil from other countries and prevent further global climate change. While President Obama wants the country to go green, he faces strong opposition from the republican party who insist on not going green and continue to drill for oil overseas. Many wonder why anybody would not want our country to go green. Going green will protect our planet from global warming, protect our country and world from global warming and will create millions of new jobs. Many republican politicians have claimed to support going green, but very few of them have actually acted on their claims.
