Global warming prevention seems to be a top priority for many liberals. In order to stop global warming, activists must continue spreading their message to the country and to the world. Although advocates for global warming prevention are strong in numbers, their political opposition have the power and influence. If people want to stop global warming, they will need liberal politicians who also believe in global warming prevention to get legislation passed. Now is the time to do this. The liberal democratic party has the majority. Although they have currently lost their 60 to 40 super majority, they still have the seats to use reconciliation. Reconciliation is a method used in both the House of Representatives and the Senate in which a bill can be voted on without the opposing party being able to filibuster. Instead of the democrats, who are trying to stop global warming needing 60 votes, in reconciliation they would need 51 votes. This makes the process of getting global warming legislation passed much easier.
